Actronic Technologies appoints new Chief Executive Officer, Gottfried Pausch

Gottfried Pausch, formerly Managing Director at Siemens New Zealand Ltd, has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Auckland-based company, Actronic Technologies. Gottfried joined the Actronic Board as an independent director twelve months ago.
Gottfried holds a degree in electrical engineering and an MBA from Duke University in North Carolina. He started his career with Siemens AG, Germany in 1986 as a commissioning and design engineer for automation systems in the mines and metal industry.
Gottfried has since gained international experience across a number of sectors including; industry, energy, ICT and professional services, managing multi-million dollar projects and businesses in various executive management roles in Europe, Asia, North America and Australasia.
In 2003 Gottfried relocated to New Zealand to become CEO of Siemens Energy Services and was later promoted to Managing Director of the Siemens New Zealand operation, leading a team of over 500. Gottfried is currently consulting as an Executive in Residence for the Icehouse business growth centre.
